PREM TRANSFERS STANDARD POWER TRANSFORMER PRODUCT LINES TO POWERVOLT
Dear Valued Prem Customers,
Prem Magnetics, Inc. is pleased to announce the sale of our standard Power Transformer product lines (SLP, SPW, SPWC, CSLP, SPHV, and SPHE series) and SPG series to PowerVolt, Inc., a leading provider of power transformers and linear DC power supplies. Prem will continue to manufacture a wide array of custom coils and transformers at its Johnsburg facility, while PowerVolt will take over all current and future orders for the above catalog products as of May 24th, 2021. All safety agency certifications will transfer with the new ownership as well.
The sale to PowerVolt, based in Addison, IL, will continue the Prem tradition of manufacturing only the highest quality power transformers in the industry, while strengthening their position through North American based production. In business for more than 48 years, PowerVolt will bring new processes and technical expertise to these products to be your supplier of choice in the future.
